Abstract
We report a solvent- and metal-free methodology for the aminochalcogenation of alkenes, using I 2 /DMSO as catalytic system, under microwave irradiation. Some of the obtained compounds showed potent antiviral activity against the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2.
