Abstract
A pillar-layer Zn–triazolate–dicarboxylate framework featuring 1D channels decorated with adjacent uncoordinated carboxylate–O atoms has been synthesized and is capable of selectively capturing C 2 H 2 and C 2 H 6 from C 2 H 2 /C 2 H 4 /C 2 H 6 ternary mixtures.
