Abstract
The magnetic shielding room (MSR), which is mainly composed of permalloy and aluminum layer, is widely used in the measurement of near-zero magnetic environment. This paper mainly uses ANSYS Maxwell software to simulate MSR and improve its design method. The shielding effectiveness (SE) is introduced to evaluate its performance. The experimental data show that the shielding parameter SE has a best value under certain conditions. SE is inversely proportional to the size of the shielding space, and is proportional to the thickness of each layer, and there is an optimal value for the gap between the two layers. This equivalent circuit to the MSR can be explained well.
