Improving LiNiO<sub>2</sub> cathode performance through particle design and optimization

Abstract
LiNiO 2 cathode performance is improved through particle engineering. The present study identifies reduced surface reconstruction and preferential LiF formation on the (104) surface as main contributors to the improvement.
