Abstract

Agriculture has significant challenges in the 21st century, which is why cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) and image processing are being employed to alter current farming operations. The primary study concern is the increased availability of visual data from a variety of sources, such as drones, satellites, and ground-based imaging equipment, which give critical information on crop and soil health as well as animal monitoring. The authors look at how AI algorithms can analyze this rich data and detect illnesses, pests, and nutritional deficits early on to help precision agriculture and reduce chemical use. In addition, they explore how image processing is used in automated irrigation management, where artificial intelligence (AI) uses meteorological data and satellite photos to optimize water use and protect resources. They also explore mechanized harvesting with AI-controlled robots that not only improve efficiency but also increase productivity.
