Abstract
Crystalline pyrite-FeS 2 is synthesised by low-temperature solid-state annealing of FeOOH, a metastable precursor, in the presence of H 2 S gas. High energy density SCs are fabricated with FeS 2 electrodes using organic and IL-based electrolytes.
