Abstract

Abstract Over the past years, the development of organic ferromagnetic materials has been investigated worldwide for potential applications. Due to the couplings among the charge, orbit, spin, and phonon in organic ferromagnetic materials, magnetoelectric, and optomagnetic couplings have been realized and observed. In this review, progress in organic magnetoelectric and optomagnetic couplings is presented, and the mechanisms behind the phenomena are also briefly summarized. Hopefully, the understanding of magnetoelectric and optomagnetic couplings could provide guidance for the further development of organic spin optoelectronics.
