Abstract
In this study, production from Dalan Formation in one of Homa field wells was investigated for polymer gel polyacrylamide polymer (PAM) and polyethyleneimine (PEI) injection. Overall, the relative error of flow rate obtained from the model in each section of Dalan Formation is less than 10% and the average model error in this well is also less than 3%. After validating the model, in order to obtain the important parameters of the well and reservoir, the model properties were updated after injecting the gel to a depth of 2953 m and lower. Eventually, after the injection of the polymer gel, the total amount of water produced decrease from 826 barrels per day to 132 barrels per day, but the total amount of gas produced from the reservoir shows the 7% decrease.
