Abstract
(AuL2) for enthalpy-driven ligand uptake targeting Sudlow's site I. Although far- and near-UV CD spectroscopy indicated that both complexes minimally perturb the secondary and tertiary structure of HSA, substantial shifts in the CD spectra were recorded for both protein-bound ligands. This study highlights the role of chirality in determining the cytotoxicity profiles and protein binding behaviour of enantiomeric Au(III) chelates.
