Consequently, hp-BQAO features an accelerated reverse intersystem crossing rate and suppressed non-radiative decay rate simultaneously, which enables the assembly of high-performance narrowband blue OLEDs with a record-high external quantum efficiency (EQE) of 24.1% for the blue OLED devices exploiting nitrogen-carbonyl-containing MR-emitters without sensitizers.
