Abstract

The existing literature lacks empirical study of IT expert salary (SIT) on internet access coverage. In modern economic relations, improving the digitalization process of each economic sector is widely observed by researchers. In this regard, the current research paper investigates relationships involving Top-100 ranking students (THS), total IT personals (ITP), number of internet access personals (API), Fiber optic cable length (OCL), and number of inter-net access organizations (ION) on the salaries of IT personnel (SIT) in various models. During the study, it examined 7 ICT access and performance covering the period from 2015 to 2021 of 7 regions. By using OLS, OLS Robust, Pooled, Fixed effect, Random effect, and Cluster-robust standard error model models, it is observed THE, OCL, and ION that significantly affect the salary of the IT expert. After using the Hausman tests, we found that fixed effects need not be necessary for this model. But, according to the Breusch-Pagan Lagrange multiplier (LM) test, we failed to reject H0 and concluded that random effects are not relevant. Various post-estimation analysis was used, such as marginal effect, selectivity, and heteroskedasticity in four scenarios. Finally, we remained in OLS Robust regression. In this case, it is recommended to implement some approaches in research areas universities like digitalization, and university enrollment students' effect on salary in ITC sector. By summarizing the results, we can denote that by increasing time period in panels we can achieve better results interacting selected variables in the model. Improvement of the digitalization reforms. impacts for increasing IT expert salary in Uzbekistan.
