Cover matters: enhanced performance of a multistage solar evaporator with tuned optical and thermal cover properties

Abstract
Designs and operating spaces were explored where silica aerogel covers could be substituted with film ( n = 1, 1 sun) or acrylic ( n = 10, 3 suns) covers, which are cost-effective, durable materials that do not compromise the performance of the multistage solar evaporator device.
