Abstract

Chia seed mucilage (CSM)-grafted-polyacrylic acid (CSM- g -PAA) was synthesized as a novel pH-dependent drug delivery system. CSM- g -PAA appeared to be a superabsorbent and stimuli-responsive smart material for intelligent delivery of nicorandil.
