Abstract

Metathesis of the halide co-ligands X from chloro to iodo improves the TADF properties in a diplatinum( ii ) complex of the form (N^C^N–N^C^N)Pt 2 X 2 , leading to a ∼3-fold increase of radiative decay rate constant.
