Abstract

A new pair of Zn(<sc>ii</sc>)–Yb(<sc>iii</sc>) enantiomers with trinuclear structures were synthesized by using a chiral amine-phenol ligand, and they show unprecedented five-functionality by association of SMM, luminescent and proton conductive properties.
