Abstract

Paper based chemosensors (PBCs) are prepared by coating mesoporous silica nanospheres on filter papers then immobilizing the probe. PBCs generate different colors in the presence of Co 2+ , Cd 2+ , Ni 2+ , or Fe 3+ and results are quantified by DICA.
