Abstract

Self-recoverable broadband near-infrared mechanoluminescence was obtained in Cr 3+ ion-doped BaGa 12 O 19 by a multi-lattice site occupation strategy, with an intensity of nearly 66.97% after penetrating ~5 mm thick pork tissue.
