Abstract
Designed Co–Cr–Fe–Ni-Hf bimodal eutectic high-entropy alloy (BEHEA) exhibits the largest yield strength (2123 ± 38 MPa) at 600 °C reported in the literature due to hard BCC+Laves eutectics and achieves a decent ductility owing to the surrounding soft FCC+Laves eutectics. The BEHEA provides a new strategy to design EHEAs.
