Abstract
Dengue is a systemic viral infection transmitted by mosquitoes, capable of causing severe diseases in humans, and presenting significant health, economic, and social challenges.1,2 The Dengue virus (DENV) is rapidly spreading, putting half of the world’s population at risk of infection, with autochthonous transmission observed in Europe and the United States.3
