Abstract
As the digital landscape continues to expand, the need for strong and secure authentication mechanisms to protect sensitive information and systems is becoming increasingly critical. This project presents a novel approach to enhance security login using a QR code implementation integrated with the widely respected RSA (Rivest-Shamir-Adleman) encryption algorithm. Traditional username and password-based authentication systems are vulnerable to various cyber threats, such as phishing attacks, password breaches, and brute force attacks. In contrast, the RSA algorithm is known for its strong encryption capabilities, making it challenging for adversaries to intercept and decode sensitive data. By combining the RSA algorithm with QR code technology, we present a two-factor authentication system that strengthens security while maintaining user convenience. By implementing this QR code-based login system in conjunction with the RSA algorithm, we aim to significantly enhance security while simplifying the user experience. The project will also address potential challenges, such as key management and user onboarding, and provide recommendations for efficient implementation.
