Abstract

Drones are widely used in the Internet of Things (IoT). Among them, the application of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) to the vehicular ad-hoc network (V ANET) has attracted attention from all fields of life. The main challenges include protecting the transmission of sensitive information in the wireless channel and reducing UA V consumption to maintain long-term operation. In this paper, firstly, we propose a lightweight dynamic membership authentication and key management scheme to ensure the sensors of the trusted network. Secondly, we compare our scheme with other protocols in terms of security functions to prove privacy superiority. Further, simulation results show that our scheme achieves minimal time overhead and communication consumption. Finally, we prove the security and efficiency of our scheme.
