Abstract
CB[6] not only forms complexes with SO 4 2− anions to enhance its solubility, but also adsorbs horizontally on the Zn surface to form an H 2 O/SO 4 2− shielding layer and induces epitaxial deposition of Zn 2+ along the (002) lattice plane.
