Abstract

MOF-derived Ag/AgO x –CN x was prepared for electrochemical oxidation of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural to 2,5-furan-dicarboxylic acid with ∼75.6% faradaic efficiency at 10 mA cm −2 current density in acid medium.
