Abstract
The fifth Kolkata Transplant Colloquium, held in Thimphu, Bhutan on January 12–14 this year, laid out challenges and advances in the field of transplantation in India and Bhutan. India has come a long way in organ transplantation in the last few decades, and has much to offer to its neighbouring countries in building treatment and research capacity.
