Abstract
Single crystals of brucinium hydrogen (S) malate pentahydrate (BH(S)M) were grown from ethanol–water (1:1) mixed solvent by slow evaporation method. Structure and crystallinity of the grown crystal were confirmed by powder X-ray diffraction analysis. Thermal stability and decomposition process were studied using TGA and DTA analysis. Kinetic analysis of the thermogravimetric data was carried out by using Coats Redfern relation. Kinetic Parameters, such as energy of activation (Ea), enthalpy (ΔH#), entropy (ΔS#) and Gibbs energy (ΔG#), were computed from the TGA data.
