Highly effective solid solution towards high thermoelectric and mechanical performance in Bi–Sb–Te alloys <i>via</i> Trojan doping

Abstract

We present a novel approach named Trojan doping, which utilizes NaBiS 2 to increase the solubility of Na in p-type BST alloys. The ZT value and the hardness of the doped sample are 58% and 45% higher than those of the pristine sample, respectively.
