High-performance manufacturing

Abstract

Highlights High-performance manufacturing (HPM) is a novel manufacturing framework. HPM reveals the deep-coupling mechanism between design and manufacturing. HPM stands out as one of the most effective manufacturing methods to ensure target consistency and inherent performance. The applications of HPM in the manufacturing of aircraft flutter models and reactor coolant pumps are demonstrated.
