Abstract

A stable and photocorrosion-resistant Mo-cation/O-anion co-doped ZnS with sulfur vacancy defects and bivalent Mo 4+ /Mo 6+ states exhibits an excellent photocatalytic hydrogen evolution activity of 41.6 mmol g −1 h −1 under visible light.
