Abstract

This ontological volume aims to establish, at an ontological level, the fundamental constraints under which the human mind can exist as a structure of subjectivity-in-operation. It does not propose psychological models, classifications, or adjudicative standards. Following the clarification of methodological premises and the incompleteness principle, the volume proceeds through a set of parallel ontological arguments that delineate the boundaries of mental operation. The Principle of Necessary Holistic Coupling of the Mental System and The Definition of Holistic Mental Operation jointly establish that the mind necessarily operates as a holistically coupled system, demonstrating that all mental activity is constrained by global coherence, non-interruptibility, and coupling relations among operational vectors. On this basis, The Internal Structure of Operational Vectors and Their Completeness and Non-Quantifiability argues that five operational vectors constitute the necessary dimensions through which a mental system can persist as a mind, and demonstrates the parameter spaces of these vectors to be in principle non-quantifiable. Subsequently, The Boundary of Conscious Accessibility distinguishes the overall operation of the mental system from conscious awareness, arguing that consciousness is not a comprehensive interface of mental operation but a locally accessible window formed under constraints of stability, energy, and temporal integration. This volume does not assign psychological identities or normative judgments. Its purpose is to provide a non-adjudicative ontological ground for subsequent discussions of emotion, relationships, personality, and cognitive structure.
