Empowering Healthcare with AI: Addressing Challenges and Envisioning the Future

Abstract

The healthcare industry faces immense pressure due to increasing acute diseases, emergencies, and rising healthcare costs. Developing an intelligent healthcare system can address these challenges by leveraging recent technological advancements such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and cloud computing. Intelligent healthcare systems can help healthcare professionals make better decisions, provide high-quality patient care, and monitor patient activities remotely. However, implementing an intelligent healthcare system presents data privacy and security concerns. The review and analysis of previous studies reveal that machine learning models such as CSO-LSTM, deep learning models, and Fuzzy Neural Networks are effective in managing intelligent healthcare systems and predicting diseases at an early stage. Future work includes developing assertive systems that benefit both the medical field and future researchers.
