Abstract
Here, FeCrAl alloys with excellent overall mechanical properties were successfully developed through a more optimized and easily controlled solution and tempering heat treatment. Serrated grain boundaries, pinned by discontinuous nanoscale precipitates, were systematically investigated as a key strengthening mechanism. The distinct deformation and fracture behaviors of samples with varying grain boundary strength and stability were revealed.
