Abstract

An alkali rare-earth phosphate fluoride nonlinear optical crystal, Na<sub>3</sub>Sc<sub>2</sub>(PO<sub>4</sub>)<sub>2</sub>F<sub>3</sub>, was synthesized, showing an enlarged birefringence and a short phase matching wavelength.
