Analysis of Strength and Bearing Capacity of the Auxiliary Mine Ventilation Fan Connected to the Rotor of Its Electrical Drive
Volodymyr Martynenko
Abstract
The paper presents a comprehensive study of the reliability of an auxiliary mine ventilation fan connected to its electrical drive. The study includes evaluation of the fan static structural strength, determination of vibrational characteristics ensuring the non-resonant operation conditions of it, as well as calculations of the bearing capacity of the electrical drive. The results of the research allow estimating the strength limit of the fan impeller and time of the safe work of the fan in terms of the bearing long-term strength and the rotor carrying capacity which composes the closed cycle of the auxiliary fan structural analysis.
