Abstract

A near zero thermal expansion NIR phosphor, AlP 3 O 9 :Cr 3+ , with high emission efficiency and excellent thermal stability is synthesized. A compact NIR pc-LED is fabricated and has a promising application in advanced nondestructive analysis technology.
