Abstract

Front Cover: In article number 2000238 by Anthi Ranella, Maria Farsari, and co-workers, multiphoton lithography is employed for the fabrication of 3D cell scaffolds with negative Poisson's ratio. It is shown that even though the photoresist SZ2080, is stiff, the scaffolds are elastic and cells penetrate them and proliferate in them, adapting the scaffold shape to suit their requirements. This work paves the way for the fabrication of metamaterials 4D scaffolds for tissue engineering.
