Engineering fast Ti electron channels to single-atom Fe for enhanced CO<sub>2</sub>photoreduction

Abstract

We report, for the first time, the synthesis of Fe single atoms loaded on MXene for photocatalytic CO 2 reduction under gas–solid conditions. Fast Ti electron channels to single-atom Fe allow photogenerated electrons to localize around Fe sites, which enhances the CO 2 reduction.
