Abstract

A catalytic system combining 2-aminothiazole and borane efficiently catalyzes a four-component tandem reductive coupling of primary amines, carbonyl compounds, boranes, and CO 2 (1 atm) and a broad range of functionalized tertiary N -methylamines are synthesized.
