View Video Presentation: https://doi.org/10.2514/6.2022-3395.vid In the present study, wall-modeled large eddy simulations (WMLES) with an equilibrium wall model were performed for one of the benchmark problems from the 4th AIAA High-lift Prediction Workshop. The flow solver, hpMusic, is based on the high-order flux reconstruction/correction procedure via reconstruction (FR/CPR) method capable of handling high-order mixed unstructured meshes. HpMusic has been parallelized on CPU and GPU clusters with both explicit and implicit time integration approaches. Computational results were compared with experimental data whenever possible. It is shown that WMLES with high-order methods on high-order curved meshes is feasible and has the potential to achieve reasonable results with much fewer degrees of freedom than 2nd order methods.
