Abstract
The objective of this research is to study the performance of the wastewater treatment plant in the wilaya of Ain Temouchent, located in northwestern Algeria, during the period from January 2014 to October 2015. We relied on correlations between the assigned pollution parameters. The application of Principal Component Analysis (PCA) to such task could be beneficial to find an explanatory relation between physicochemical parameters in order to implement a criticality diagram to define the risks related to the station. Therefore, identifying the control zones following effluent quality standards and the zones at risk, which require an improvement intervention.
