Abstract

The enhanced built-in electric field in CoO x /BiVO 4 and OER active sites in NiFeO x of Co–BiVO 4 /NiFeO x were favourable for charge transfer and elemental OER reactions during PEC water splitting, with a remarkable photocurrent density of 6.42 mA cm −2 .
