Abstract
, which was immediately transformed to ˙OH by mimicking peroxidase activity and at the same time oxidized ABTS to a green product with a clear colorimetric signal. The whole process was completed using one buffer, which simplified the procedure and increased the sensitivity. Moreover, the proposed method can also be used for the quantitative analysis of galactose. It showed a good linear relationship at 20-1000 μM, while the LOD was 6.67 μM. Furthermore, the strategy has been successfully utilized for galactose determination in milk samples, which proved its promising applications in clinical analysis and the food industry.
