Abstract
The ten member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) have different energy needs, resources, and developmental priorities. The creation and execution of efficient energy management strategies have become vital for the region due to the rising concerns about energy security, climate change, and sustainable development. The issues that ASEAN faces in managing its energy resources are examined in detail in this article, which also analyses current energy regulations and suggests methods for a comprehensive and sustainable energy management policy framework. This article intends to offer insights into defining the future course of energy management in ASEAN by assessing the merits and flaws of current policies.
