Abstract

Two antimony nitrates were synthesized by the low temperature molten salt method. Both of them reveal large birefringence; especially, noncentrosymmetric (NH 4 ) 3 SbF 3 (NO 3 ) 3 exhibits a strong SHG coefficient of about 3.3 × KDP.
