Abstract

New amino phospha betaines were obtained by quaternization of potassium salt of amino phosphonate and higher alkyl bromides. The structure of isopropyl (N-dodecyl-N,N- dimethylammoniomethyl)phosphonate was confirmed by single crystal X-ray diffraction. All synthesized compounds demonstrate high antibacterial and antifungal activities.
