Abstract

Here we propose a new anionic surfactant as an electrolyte additive to guide the preferential deposition of Zn 2+ in the (002) orientation, suppress the side reactions, and realize a dendrite-free Zn anode for highly stable aqueous Zn-ion pouch cells.
