Circularly polarised photoluminescence and electroluminescence of chiral copper(<scp>i</scp>) dimers based on<i>R</i>/<i>S</i>-2,2′-bis(diphenylphosphino)-1,1′-binaphthalene ligands

Abstract

R / S -(BINAP) 2 Cu(μ-I 2 ) enantiomer doped films show a high | g PL | factor above 1 × 10 −2 , while a pioneering work of CP-OLEDs based on chiral Cu( i ) enantiomers exhibited a high EQE of 21.7% and | g EL | factors of around 3.0 × 10 −3 .
