Abstract

Due to the introduction of a strong electron donor, Co III (CN) 6 3− , into the structure, the rare-earth donor–acceptor (D–A) hybrid crystal shows enhanced photochromism. The coordinative Eu 3+ cation is also beneficial toward improving the luminescence.
