Time to Retire the Concept of <i>Transient Ischemic Attack</i>

Abstract
This Viewpoint argues that evidence shows that transient ischemic attacks are neither benign nor transient and should be retired as a neurological diagnostic term in favor of acute ischemic cerebrovascular syndrome.
