Abstract

This study propose a balance controller to produce the control strategy automatically. The design of controller is based on straight squaredlinear quadratic regulator (LQR) approach for verifying the controller performance, a single area thermal and bi- area networked system with non reheat functions have been considered. The performance of the system has been tested for multivariable and multi-valued load conditions. The promising performance of the system revel that LQR approach in the best for controller design of load based frequency control system.
