Abstract

A facile MOF-mediated approach is proposed to synthesize FeCo–N–C catalyst <italic>via</italic> one-step impregnation-pyrolysis without any post-treatment. The dual-metal site (Fe–N<sub>4</sub> &amp; Co–N<sub>4</sub>) can synergistically boost the ORR activity in the Zn–air batteries.
